Parliament Hill – Hampstead Heath Series

Shona Elrick creates vibrant, expressive landscapes mainly in the medium of oil on canvas, using painterly layers of mark-making overlaid onto colourful newsprint collage. Her passion for landscape began early in her rural childhood in North East Scotland, and remains an enduring influence behind many of her works, especially her North Sea Series, which is inspired by the coast of Aberdeenshire. Now residing in London, her Hampstead Heath Series is created via frequently walks through the seasons. Shona has exhibited widely in London, most recent exhibitions have been at Bankside Gallery and The Riverside Studios.
