Darren Hall and art has always been a refuge and a source of strength his whole life. Darren’s approach to painting is always characterised by beautiful colours and an energetic flow. This looser feel compared to less rigid and time-consuming has become his confidence builder in recent years. This is also a reminder of his resilience ever since his cognitive diagnosis in 2019. While many artists favour a specific theme or style, he was unwilling to explore in-depth new ones to the fullest. However, a chance exploration whilst researching a theme was to prove pivotal. His aim was to find and share an emotion with himself and others. His landscapes allowed an outpouring of calming emotions, less vivid thoughts, and a unique creativity to his identity as an artist. It was the push he required to become much more creativity with his paintings. Onward.
