Gill Brown studied fine art and sculpture at the Liverpool College of Art. She then taught art in special schools before moving to America where she worked as a freelance artist. Once married, she moved to Kenya for several years where wildlife became her inspiration. She became fascinated by birds, her work often catches just a fleeting moment in time. All her sculptures are cast in bronze at Livingstone Art Foundry in Kent, where they have cast nearly 400 of her bronzes.
